All change
Renesas has announced a number of changes in its management team, to take effect on April 1, 2009.
The new appointments are subject to approval of the general shareholders’ meeting to be held before the end of March, 2009.
Satoru Ito, chairman and ceo since April 2006, will retire from his position and Katsuhiro Tsukamoto, currently president and coo, will be appointed chairman and board director. Yasushi Akao, pictured, will take up the post of president, while continuing as board director.
