Neil Tyler has been an editor and journalist for more than 25 years covering a wide range of
industries for publishers ranging from the Financial Times and Informa to the Daily Mail Group.
With a degree in politics from Leicester University, he started his career with Reuters working on
its tailored 24 hour news service supplying breaking news and stories to the financial services industry.
In 1999, he took the plunge and decided to go freelance. Over the next eight years, he worked with a
number of companies covering a variety of different industries including automotive, telecommunications,
banking and finance – even working for a local theatre group in Brighton. Before joining New Electronics
he edited Components in Electronics for seven years.
A bit of a foodie, he can be found hanging out around the restaurants, bars and clubs of Soho, Shoreditch
and Bermondsey High Street. Failing that he’ll be down his local boozer in Surbiton.
