How to program the AS5600 magnetic rotary sensor

This video illustrates how to program and design with the AS5600, the magnetic rotary position sensor, delivered by ams.

The AS5600 is a new magnetic position sensor with analogue, PWM-encoded or I2Coutput. The high reliability, durability, simple angular excursion programming and automatic low power modes make this solution ideally suited for contactless potentiometers.

In summary, the AS5600 offers three programming options:
Option A: Programming start and stop position over I2C
Option B: Programming in 3-wire mode
Option C: Programming a angular range over I2C
With the AS5600 it is easier to set-up a highly reliable and robust contactless potentiometer.
