Mass production of Panasonic’s AN34092B high speed gate driver has started in November 2016, according to the company. The driver is optimised for driving the GaN power transistor X-GaN. The company has also started mass production of two types of X-GaN: the PGA26E07BA and PGA26E19BA.

Using an array of components and tools, including an Arduino MC-Mega development board, a RepRap Arduino Mega Pololu Shield, a MakerBot printer and his CNC router, Ben creates a 3d printer complete with a mechanical assembly on the plastruder and dual Z axis motors that synchronise the printer arm movement. After tackling a few programming challenges, Ben prints his first 3d object.

The High Voltage Motor Control and PFC Developer's Kit offers customers an open source hardware and software platform to develop advanced motor control systems with digital power factor correction (PFC) using TI's Piccolo microcontroller. Using TI's Piccolo controlCARD, the PFC stage on the kit provides up to 750Watts of power to the motor driver stage, which can output 2 KiloWatts of power. Based on TI's new controlSUITE software platform, the software included with the kit provides step by step documentation for closed loop PFC software and detailed examples and labs on controlling brushless DC , AC Induction, or permanent magnet synchronous motors.
