TO-Style Heat Sink Mountable Power Film Resistors

Rhopoint Components is pleased to offer a wide range of Caddock TO-126, TO-220 and TO-247 style heat sink mountable power film resistors. These TO-style packages are commonly used for power semiconductor devices making them ideal for new power designs.

The MP resistor ranges utilise Caddock’s own Micronox® resistance film technology, which was initially developed in 1962, enabling them to have increased voltage and power handling capabilities with very high levels of stability and reliability even when used in extreme operating conditions and harsh environments. They have a non-inductive design and the resistor element is isolated from the heat sink mountable tab. The majority of parts can be screw mounted to the heat sink making them less prone to vibration effects compared with other conventional devices. The MP2060 series offers NEW clip mounting allowing the increased power ratings and lower resistances compared to previous screw mounted TO-220 devices. The MP725 series offers higher power rated resistors in a surface mountable D-Pak package.
