The MIC33163/MIC33164 (1A) and MIC33263/MIC33264 (2A) are low-profile step down power modules capable of 100 percent duty cycle and operating with an input voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V. These compact modules integrate a synchronous buck converter with an inductor into a 2.5mm x 3mm x 1.1mm (MIC33163/MIC33164) and 2.5mm x 3mm x 1.9mm (MIC33263/MIC33264) QFN package.

Artesyn’s New 40W & 50W 2x1 Industrial DC-DC Converters

Artesyn's latest AEE series 40W & 50W high density DC-DC converters are designed for industrial and rugged applications. 24 new voltage variants cover a wide range of high density applications and both new series cover an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range. Standard -40°C to +80°C operation can be extended by using an optional clip-on heat sink. The Artesyn AEE series offers up to 92% efficiency in a 2x1 inch fully potted and metal cased package.

26V Input, 6A/10A/14A, High-Performance, High-Density Step-Down Complete DC/DC Power Modules from Micrel

The Micrel MIC45205/08/12 are a family of 6A/10A/14A highly efficient DC/DC power modules specifically designed to deliver extreme high performance at lower output voltages. The package includes power MOSFETs, PWM controller, inductor, input and output capacitors. The modules feature adjustable current limit and a programmable switching frequency from 200kHz to 600kHz; undervoltage lockout; internal soft-start; foldback current limit; "hiccup" mode short-circuit protection; and thermal shutdown.

This device is comprised of fast analog control loops, precision mixed signal circuitry, EEPROM, power MOSFETs, inductors and supporting components. Tiny 4A Step-Down DC/DC µModule Regulator’s Entire Solution Occupies Less Than 1cm²

The LTM4624 is a complete 4A step-down switching mode µModule regulator in a tiny 6.25mm × 6.25mm × 5.01mm BGA package. Included in the package are the switching controller, power FETs, inductor and support components. Operating over an input voltage range of 4V to 14V or 2.375V to 14V with an external bias supply, the LTM4624 supports an output voltage range of 0.6V to 5.5V, set by a single external resistor. Its high efficiency design delivers 4A continuous, 5A peak, output current. Only bulk input and output capacitors are needed. The LTM4620 from Linear Technology is a complete dual 13A output switching mode DC/DC power supply that includes in the package the switching controller, power FETs, inductors and all supporting components. Operating from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 16V, the LTM4620 supports two outputs each with an output voltage range of 0.6V to 2.5V, set by a single external resistor.
