Outstanding New Low Cost Industrial Nano-ITX Motherboard

Avalue have come up trumps again with a very impressive, low cost Intel® Celeron® powered industrial motherboard. The SENX-BYT features the J1900 Intel® Celeron® processor, with 2M cache and running up to 2.42 GHz. The board supports one 204-pin DDR3L 1333 MHz SO-DIMM up to 8 GB, and has 3 expansion slots plus onboard eMMC (32GB) and a host of other features in the popular Nano-ITX format.

ARM Module Combines Low-Power with Low-Cost

The AT-501 system on module is based on Atmel’s low-power SAMA5D3 processor which uses an ARM Cortex-A5 core, to provide a full-featured Linux system consuming 450mW or less, in a tiny 68 x 47mm SODIMM package, priced from £27. The module features 256MB RAM and Flash. SD Card, USB, I2C, SPI and UARTs are all provided along with CANbus, Gigabit Ethernet and up to 120 GPIOs. The AT-501 is one of a wide-range of system-on-modules available now from Direct Insight.

AAEON embedded Industrial boards from RDS

The three embedded boards from AAEON are based on Intel’s latest Baytrail range of CPU platforms. Compact COM Express Type 6 format CPU module, available in single, dual and quad core versions. GENE-BT05 is a 3.5inch, feature rich industrial sub-compact motherboard and features Intel® Celeron N2930/ N2807 processors. EMB-BT1 thin Mini-ITX embedded motherboard is based on Intel® Atom™ E3845/E3825 processors.

AdaCore’s GNAT Pro Available for Wind River VxWorks 7

AdaCore today announced the continuing extension of its Wind River® VxWorks® real-time operating system (RTOS) support, with the implementation of the GNAT Pro development environment on VxWorks 7. AdaCore engineers worked closely with Wind River on this new product, ensuring that it would support both single- and multi-core systems, as well as other architectures.

GUIX and GUIX Studio, Express Logic’s Development Tools Optimized for Small Footprint

GUIX™ is a high-performance real-time implementation of a (GUI) designed for embedded ThreadX-based applications.
