Switch mode power management

Switch mode power management devices from Allegro feature a quasi resonant topology, resulting in lower emi noise than pwm based switching.

Devices in the STR-W67xx series are supplied in fully moulded to220 packages and include a controller and a mosfet. There are three models: the W6753, a 650V part supplying 58W from a universal input or 120W from a 230V supply; the W6754, supplying 100/160W; and the W6756, producing 140/240W.
