Sam Etchell, Trains and Signalling Integration Manager at London Underground will hold a session on the new Victoria Line signalling system which uses 385 jointless track circuits to detect train position in real time to maintain safe train separation. See how London Underground engineers implemented a remote condition monitoring system using the CompactRIO monitoring platform to continuously perform RMS voltage and frequency analysis at 100 Hz on all 385 track circuits.
