New low profile AC-DC power supply series delivers high performance at low cost

Stadium Stontronics, a leader in the design and manufacture of high-efficiency power supply technology, has introduced the low-cost SRS series of medium- to high-power single-output enclosed type AC-DC power supplies, which have been designed with a very high price to performance ratio for industrial automation, control, instrumentation and household appliance applications.

All of the variants in the SRS series have a low profile of 30mm to enable multiple units to be installed in the same platform for maximum ease of use, and to allow them to fit easily within a standard 1U metal enclosure.

Available in 15W, 25W, 35W, 50W, 75W, 100W, 150W, 200W and 350W versions with a range of output voltages from 5VDC to 48VDC, each model has a single terminal block with a safety barrier and is enclosed in a mesh safety case that enables convection cooling. This is supported by high efficiency up to 91%, which generates less waste heat and keeps internal component temperatures cool.

The SRS series operates at temperatures from – 30°C to 70°C across the range, with each product providing full power down to an AC Input of 100VAC with derated operation down to 85VAC for international markets with a wide range of input conditions. The EMC emissions meet EN55022 Level B.

All units have a LED power indicator and a range of protection features including over-current shutdown with auto-recovery and over voltage protection. Below 200W the unit is convection cooled with the 350W unit having an integral fan. All units have a 100% burn-in before leaving the factory and are supplied with a three-year warranty.
