Dual output non isolated pol converter for ddr memory

Claimed as the industry's first dual output non isolated point of load converter for double data rate (ddr) memory, the DDR12 from Artesyn is said to be an all in one solution for ddr memory and associated control logic.

Until now, says the company, two point of load converters or complex discrete circuitry was needed to meet the power needs of ddr memory. However, the DDR12 can supply both the 2.5V Vddq and the 1.25V ddr termination voltage (Vtt) for ddr memory. The Vddq output can supply up to 25A, whilst the Vtt output delivers up to 8A.

Running from a 12V supply rail, the module is protected against overvoltage and has a power good output signal.
