How the latest display controller interfaces are enabling users to drive multiple displays from a single pc. By Mike Richardson.

Financial analysts and computer professionals have long championed the benefits of multiple displays as a means to increase productivity and present more information in different ways. With the cost of flat panel lcds decreasing, the attractive benefits of the multi monitor desktop are now within the grasp of organisations – and even home office users. In a world of information overload, the new measure of productivity is no longer computer processing power – it’s the area of the display. And beyond the office space, information display systems designers are also looking to make substantial cost and power savings by keeping pace with the latest multi monitor interface technologies for multiple display information kiosks and facility spanning digital signage products.
