High quality code from C compilers

Three C compilers from Computer Solutions are said to allow the generation of high quality code in a fraction of the time required for handwritten assembler code.

The compilers are targeted at TI's MSP430, Microchip's dsPIC and the ARM architecture. Included is the HI-TIDE development environment, which offers project management and editing capabilities, as well as a debugging environment.

The ARM version implements full ISO/ANSI C, allowing code portability, along with any mix of ARM or Thumb functions. The package comes with a USB based boundary scan interface.
