Gecko showcases connector design excellence at PCB Live

Leading connector expert Harwin is using the forthcoming PCB Live event to profile an extension to its award-winning Gecko-SL (Screw-Lok) product range, which includes horizontal male connectors.

The mature and popular Gecko range has gained many fans amongst engineers by providing a more compact (and lightweight) alternative to conventional Micro-D connectors, and all variants will be available to discuss on the Harwin stand at PCB Live. In addition to highlighting this new development and its wider range of connector solutions at PCB Live, Neil Moore, EMC Product Manager for Harwin, is also giving a headline presentation at the event, on “How to maximise PCB space with connector selection”. Neil graduated from Brighton University in 2005 and is an expert in circuit board design and production techniques.

PCB Live is the UK’s only dedicated event focusing on PCB design, test and manufacture. This one-day opportunity provides senior engineers with a platform to meet and talk with some of the most experienced PCB-related technologists and application experts in the country. Entry to PCB Live is free of charge by pre-registration. The event takes place at the acclaimed British Motor Museum on 12th March. The venue is located at Gaydon, adjacent to the Aston Martin and JLR plants south of Warwick and just one minute from the M40. There is abundant free parking, and for visitors arriving before 1030, a free bacon roll and brew too. Tea and coffee is provided free of charge all day at the event, and pre-registered exhibition visitors can also visit the superb Museum, with almost 300 fascinating cars on show, free of charge too (standard adult entry fee otherwise is £14.50).
