Anglia broadens antenna lines

Anglia Components has announced a new partnership with Taoglas, a provider of next-generation IoT solutions, broadening its range of existing IoT components including RF, antenna, cables and connectors.

Taoglas has developed a comprehensive portfolio of external and embedded antennas covering Cellular, GPS/GNSS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, NFC/RFID, LPWA, ISM band and Satcom applications. This is complemented with a range of filters, cables and connectors which can be customised to the customer’s requirement.

Commenting on the partnership, David Pearson, Technical Director at Anglia, said, “We’re delighted to offer an expanded range of antenna components that meet real design challenges with Taoglas. Anglia have invested in an inventory profile covering the most popular standard antenna and cable assembly products.

"Taoglas also has an innovative configuration tool that allows creation of custom cable assemblies and antenna solutions to meet exact application requirements. These bespoke products can typically be shipped in as little as 48 hours depending on the quantity and complexity. In addition, Anglia’s engineering teams have been fully trained on the Taoglas portfolio and are available to assist customers with their IoT design needs.”

Commenting Taylor Kimmerle, VP of Global Distribution Sales for Taoglas, added, “Our extensive portfolio and customisation options will allow Anglia’s customers to order highly customised antenna and cable assembly via our Antenna and Cable Builder. This web-based tool enables clients to configure the cable and connectors exactly as needed, as well as providing best-in-class technical drawings and documentation.”
