Regulators comply with IMVP-6.5

  • Regulators comply with IMVP-6.5

Intersil's ISL62882/3 multiphase PWM regulators are said to deliver optimal voltage regulation for Intel mobile cpus.

The parts comply with IMVP-6.5 and feature low power dissipation, optimal thermal management with small footprint for use in notebooks, networks and embedded designs.
The ISL62882 and ISL62883 reduce component cost and implementation footprint for a range of Intel based products. Each regulator supports various cpus using programmable one, two or three phase operation. Configurable overshoot reduction provides minimal Vout overshoot, while both devices feature phase dropping, diode emulation, adaptive body diode conduction time reduction and full buffering. In addition, the ISL62882 provides a split LGATE function that further improves efficiency.
