Industry’s lowest drift bandgap voltage reference

Linear has announced the LT6657, a range of ultra-stable bandgap voltage references that is said to exhibit less than 1.5ppm/°C of temperature drift. The LT6657 is also claimed to have 0.5ppmp-p of low frequency noise, less than 30ppm of long term drift and 35ppm of thermal hysteresis.

Advanced wireless testing capability

Anritsu has announced the MT8821C, a radio communication analyser for research and development testing of mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablets and M2M modules, with the capability for supporting LTE-Advanced.

New multi-band PIM analyser

Link Microtek is making available a new PIM analyser that can measure the passive intermodulation (PIM) distortion of a device over four different frequency bands in a single pass, eliminating the need to connect/disconnect the DUT (device under test) to a separate instrument for each band. As a result there is a major reduction in the overall test time and a significant increase in test throughput.

NI unveils first Intel Xeon-based PXI embedded controller

National Instruments has announced the NI PXIe-8880 controller based on the Intel Xeon processor, and the NI PXIe-1085 chassis, which is the first chassis to use PCI Express Gen 3 technology. The combination of the eight-core, server-class Intel Xeon processor E5-2618L v3 and full system bandwidth of 24 GB/s delivers enhanced levels of performance for computationally intensive and highly parallel applications such as wireless test, semiconductor test and 5G prototyping.

Differential current transformer for current measurements up to 10 A

HARTING has added a differential current transformer capable of carrying out current measurements at up to 10 A to its family of current sensors for industrial applications. Specifically designed for measurements of ambient conditions in the wind energy sector, the single-piece core transformer combines high functional reliability with extremely high mechanical stability for the most demanding applications.

Compact 10.1-inch TFT features WUXGA resolution

KOE, the Industrial display manufacturer, has introduced a new 10.1-inch TFT display module featuring WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels) resolution. The TX26D202VM0BAA has a pixel pitch of 0.11325mm (w) x 0.11325mm (h), which equates to a pixel density of 224ppi (pixels per inch).

Anritsu introduces ShockLine 1-port USB VNAs

Anritsu Company has introduced the ShockLine MS46121A series of 1-port USB Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs). In an extremely compact package, two models with frequency coverage of 40 MHz to 4 GHz and 150 kHz to 6 GHz are powered and controlled via a user-supplied computer to simply and cost-efficiently test cables, antennas, and other passive RF devices where 1-port measurements up to 6 GHz are required.

Network tester enhances 4G user experience

The TM500 network tester family is, according to Cobham Wireless, helping mobile operators to accelerate the deployment of high capacity networks. Already supporting key LTE-A features such as carrier aggregation of two and three component carriers, TDD/FDD carrier aggregation, and eICIC, the TM500 is now able to support Coordinated Multipoint transmission/reception (CoMP), a major feature of 3GPP LTE-A Release 11.
