02 June 2011 Rutronik incorporates RECOM's certified ac/dc converter into its programme Rutronik incorporates RECOM's certified ac/dc converter into its programme The RAC15-B and RAC40-A-series from the RECOM Powerline family are compact isolated ac/dc converters that meet CE and UL60601 requirements and are approved for medical applications. The converters have 4kVAC/1min. isolation voltage and a leakage current of maximum 200mA, a feature in medical technology. The 15 and 40W modules offer a universal input voltage range and are available with single, dual or triple outputs from distributor Rutronik. The conversion efficiency of the RAC15-B and RAC40-A series is up to 83%, which enables RECOM to guarantee an ambient temperature range of -25 to 70°C without derating. They are protected against short circuit and overload, feature a Class B EMC filter and meet EN55011 and EN60601-1-2 without external components. Both RAC series are available either for pcb or DIN rail mounting, the latter with screw terminal connections.
