andersDX delivers entry level Embedded UI

andersDX has created an entry level DX series embedded display platform with the launch of the DX1, based on the 600MHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor from Texas Instruments. The DX1a features an integrated TFT touch screen and is preloaded with Linux, Android or Windows CE. With the addition of application software, it becomes a fully working prototype system.

IAR launches C-RUN analysis tool

IAR Systems used Embedded World to launch C-RUN - its fully integrated runtime analysis product. C-RUN is an extension to the existing embedded development tools from IAR Systems and gives developers the opportunity to analyse their code at an early stage and to perform runtime analysis every step of the way.

National Instruments has released NI VeriStand 2011, the latest version of its configuration based software environment for creating real time testing and simulation applications including hardware in the loop (HIL) simulators and test cells.

Multicore debugging for NXP LPC4000

Keil has annouced multicore degugging for the NXP LC4000 family of microcontrollers. The new NXP LPC4000 devices integrate a multicore system consisting of an ARM Cortex-M4 and a Cortex-M0 processor. This asymmetric multicore system requires additional features from the development tools, in particular the debugger.

CAD tool allows instant price check and availability

CadSoft Computer has launched version 5.11of its EAGLE software. The update is said to incorporate a new 'DesignLink' functionality, giving electronic design engineers automatic search through element 14, with online check of pricing and availability, as well as access to the latest data.

Corelis has released version 1.21 of its I2C exerciser software, designed to add new capabilities to Corelis' BusPro-I and CAS-1000-I2C/E bus analyser products.
