TPD1E10B09 - TI's First Single Channel ESD Device

Roger Liang, a systems engineer at Texas Instruments, discusses VDIODE, the latest brand new process technology from TI. This device has achieved well over 20kV Contact discharge and greater than 20kV Air-gap discharge ratings. This is among the best in the industry. It far exceeds the IEC 61000-4-2 standard specification of 8kV Contact discharge and 15kV Air-gap discharge ratings. The TPD1E10B09 is the first device to use the VDIODE technology.
