The next generation of plastic electronics
A new generation of cheap, lightweight plastic electronic technology that does not require silicon, but which is optically transparent and can be coated onto everyday objects could transform our world.
In this video, Dr Andrew Flewitt and Dr Robert Phaal, both from the University of Cambridge's Department of Engineering, talk with Scott White, serial entrepreneur and ceo of Pragmatic Printing, about the creative partnership forged between different parts of the engineering department and outside companies that enable the technology and research in this area to be exploited successfully.
