TI Solutions for Tablets: Processor, Audio, Power
A tablet is a handheld electronic device primarily designed to run multimedia and web-based applications which require considerable processing power. A tablet's main advantage over a laptop PC is its portability which comes from its small form factor and less number of peripheral devices. Texas Instruments offers our customers with a variety of semiconductor solutions to design Tablets. TI's tablet block diagram shows the OMAP processor which perfectly balances power and performance providing designers and end users an optimal multimedia solution. TI provides majority of the necessary analogue solutions for the wireless connectivity, video, audio, and power management for tablet design as shown in the block diagram.
