Implementing battery monitoring technology for EV/HEV

Upal Sengupta interviews Bob Shoemaker regarding the TI's bq76pl536 lithium battery monitor IC for hybrid and electric vehicle applications. The bq76PL536 battery cell monitor and cell balancing solution designed for demanding vehicle system needs. Each device monitors 6 lithium cells in series and can be stacked to monitor 192 cells in series. This makes the bq76PL536 a great solution for batteries in eScooters, eMotor Bike, eCars and even eBuses.
