Researchers have, for the first time, developed crystalline materials that enable an optical fibre to have integrated, high speed electronic functions.
The UK Electronic Skills Foundation (UKESF) last night presented its first annual Scholar of the Year award to Adam Malpass, a final year student reading electronic engineering (MEng) at the University of Southampton. Malpass' UKESF Scholarship is sponsored by Dialog Semiconductor.
