Worldwide agreement on digital power technology

Ericsson Power Modules has been granted a worldwide license on a patent portfolio for digital power technology (DPT) from Power-One. The non-exclusive license agreement provides Ericsson Power Modules with access to Power-One's portfolio of DPT patents for incorporation in its series of 3E digitally controlled point of load devices.

Ericsson improves power and efficiency

Ericsson has increased the power of its latest optimised dc/dc power module by 65% compared with previous versions from its PKM-E series.

Board mounted dc/dc regulators

Five families of board mounted dc/dc regulators from Ericsson Power Modules conform to the requirements of the Point of Load Alliance (POLA). The devices are said to reduce qualification time, speed time to market and ensure reliable sourcing.
