The Electronics Components Supply Network has announced its distribution members' consolidated results for September 2011, reporting an increase in billings compared to the previous month, but a year on year decline.

Following the upswing of 2010, the components market will return to modest levels in 2011, with an overall growth of around 4.3%, according to the annual Electronic Components Supply Network (ECSN) and Association of Franchised Distributors of Electronic Components (AFDEC) forecasts.

Figures released by afdec, the component distribution group within the Electronic Components Supply Network (ECSN) show a small increase in billings in August 2010 compared to the previous month and a continuing improvement on the same month in 2009.
