SAW crystal technology behind clock oscillator

  • SAW crystal technology behind clock oscillator

Crystek Crystals' 1.090GHz SAW clock oscillator (ccso), the CCSO-014-1090, has been designed using SAW (surface acoustic wave) crystal technology and is said to provide a low noise, low jitter performance with true SineWave output.

According to Crystek, the resulting oscillator features -138dBc/Hz phase noise at 10KHz offset.

The CCSO-014-1090 comes in a 14 PIN DIP hermetically sealed package, features a 12V input voltage and generates a true sinewave with 12dBm min output power. It has no subharmonic, while the second harmonic is -40dBc max and operates from -55 to 105°C.

The CCSO-014-1090 was designed for Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) applications.
