Recom Lighting unveils led drivers with 30W constant voltage
Recom Lighting has released a new led driver series with 30W constant voltage and power factor correction/compensation (PFC).
The RACV30 is the first of a new series of constant voltage led drivers, suitable for powering led strips and led modules in applications such as cove lighting, signage, back lighting, channel letters, displays or under cabinet lighting.
Recom says the input voltage of 90 to 264VAC offers full functionality worldwide. The devices are available with outputs of 12 or 24VDC, with the output voltages regulated to compensate for varying loads or supply changes (2% max).
The drivers measure 160 x 55 x 22mm, feature active PFC and fully comply with the EN61000-3-2 Class C standard. With an integrated constant current source, they are optimised to supply several led chains in parallel.
Additional features include a terminal block and 5.5mm jack fittings on the input and output for easy and reliable fitting. Integrated over load and thermal protection is also included.
