PEAK 777VL2 single board computer

  • board level design

Industrial computing technology specialist, Nexcom, has launched a new PICMG 1.0 full size single board computer (SBC) which supports Intel 45nm Core 2 Duo/Quad technology and is equipped with the G41 chipset.

The Intel G41 + ICH7 chipset is designed to ensure high quality video performance without deployment of additional cards or decoders. Nexcom says that in addition to improved video performance, scalability and responsiveness, the Intel G41 Express GPU can deliver 3D graphics capability.

PEAK 777VL2 includes the Intel Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Duo/Pentium 4/Pentium D/Celeron D with front side bus frequencies ranging from 800 to 1333MHz. For high performance applications, it can support up to 4GB DDR RAM. It also supports I/O interfaces such as 2 x serial ports, 6 x USB ports and 2 x PCI Express Gigabit LAN ports.

PEAK 777VL2 will find applications within graphic intensive applications which require flexibility and performance. Digital signage is one potential market for this product.

PEAK 777VL2 is the latest addition to Nexcom's range of PICMG 1.0 and 1.3 rated SBCs and passive backplanes.
