NEW led line up from ROHM Semiconductor

  • NEW led line up from ROHM Semiconductor

ROHM Semiconductor's new EXCELED led family is based on original device and advanced phosphor technology, combined with refined wavelength rank sorting as well as 4element chips and wafer processing.

As a result, the company says the new devices facilitate wavelength customisation and are able to emit custom colours, including white and pastels. In addition to the eight standard colours dark red, red, orange, yellow, yellow-green, green, blue, and white, six optional colours (pink, blue-green, blue lagoon, saphire blue, ice blue, incandescent bulb colour) can be offered for a wide range of applications such as automotive, consumer, gaming, industrial and more.

There is a choice of package types, from an ultra thin packaging of 1.6 x 0.8 x 0.36mm up to a package size of 3.0 x 2.0 x 1.3mm.

ROHM's overall chip led line up consists of standard type, top view type, side view and reverse mount types providing maximum design and soldering flexibility.

The products are available on a made to order basis.
