Mean Well CEN-100 series IP rated power supply

  • Mean Well CEN-100 series IP rated power supply

Mean Well's 96W metal case power supply - the CEN-100 series has been designed primarily for the led markets, but is suitable for any installation that requires a power supply capable of withstanding harsh environments.

Due to the mechanical design, the CEN-100 series meets IP66 rating; users can adjust the output current or voltage without removing the covers. Through the potential meters, the output current can be adjusted between 75 and 100% of rated value and the voltage adjusted by ± 10%.

Mean Well says that due to the simplified single stage PFC topology, meeting the requirement for high power factor correction can be achieved economically. With this built in active PFC function, the CEN-100 meets the requirements of harmonic current per EN61000-3-2 Class C, and also meets PF>0.9 if loading is over 60%.

Designed for operating within harsh environments, the CEN-100 series has a full aluminium case, stainless steel screws and waterproof cables. The power supply operates at up to 91% of high efficiency; and can be cooled by free air convection from -30 to 70° ambient temperature. In addition, the series is supplied with 4KV surge immunity (EN61000-4-5) that complies with the requirements for the operating of street lighting applications.

Other standard functions include constant voltage (C.V.) + constant current (C.C.) operation mode, short circuit, overload, over voltage, and over temperature protections. With a 3 year warranty and worldwide safety certificates, UL, CUL, TUV, CE, and CB the Mean Well CEN-100 series further increases Mean Well's comprehensive range of IP rated harsh environment power supplies.
