GTK launches high performance, high speed, high contrast lcd

  • system design

The new negative mode display from GTK UK is a high performance product that offers a number of innovative features.

The new technology in this lcd produces an extremely black background with an ultra high contrast ratio (300:1). Various types of LED backlights can be used with this device enabling ease of differentiation across a suite of similar products.

This product effectively replaces TN Black mask, negative mode FSTN in terms of performance and cost.

The speed of this device means that where scrolling messages are required left to right the problems of time lag, as experienced with older lcd technologies, are eliminated.

This customisable product is ideal for use in many applications, including automotive, audio, vending machines and consumer electronics. It is particularly suitable for applications where a "12 o'clock viewing angle" is typical.
