USB range extended to 30m

  • USB range extended to 30m

Amplicon has added a wireless solution to its USB extender range. With a range of up to 30m, ‘WiRanger’ is claimed as the world’s first wireless USB2.0 extender.

WiRanger units are shipped in pairs and use 802.11g for communication. The pre paired units are said to work out of the box, with the user simply choosing channel 1, 6 or 11 to avoid interference from other devices.
