TSMC reports record Q3 sales
TSMC has announced record net sales of $49.28billion for October 2012, an increase of 15.1% over September 2012 and increase of 32.3% over October 2011.
Revenues for January through October 2012 totalled $419.67bn, an increase of 19.1% compared to the same period in 2011.
IC Insights reports that TSMC will be the world's third largest semiconductor company this year in terms of revenue, after Intel and Samsung. Full 2012 year sales are estimated at $17bn.
