Robot delivered to US military

QinetiQ North America’s Technology Solutions Group has shipped the first MAARS ground robot to the US military.

The MAARS system is an agile, combat ready robot that is controlled remotely by the operator. With advanced processing capabilities and what Qinetiq says is an ‘easy to learn’ digital control system, MAARS can work at distances of 1km from the operator.
