Remotely access up to 16 devices on a corporate network

Lantronix is set to launch its latest evolution device/terminal server products, the 8 and 16 port EDSPS.

The multiport device servers are designed to allow serial equipment, such as medical devices, kiosks and retail terminals, to be accessed and managed via the internet. The RoHS compliant EDSPS includes SSH, SSL and AES encryption and enterprise level security.
Jerry Chase, Lantronix’ ceo, said: “The EDS is an important addition to our product portfolio and part of an ongoing flow of new products for 2009. The product reflects our customers’ expectations that Lantronix continually improves product features, security and ease of use. Investing in and growing our product and technology leadership is just as important to us, as our commitment to positive cash flow and profitability.”
The device servers also feature management tools for configuration and monitoring, as well as email and rss notifications. Available in February 2009, it is an enhanced RoHS compliant replacement for Lantronix’ ethernet terminal servers, the ETS8PS and the ETS16PS.
