  • Omron and RS extend relationship

Omron Electronic Components and RS Components have inked a pan European distribution agreement that extends the relationship between the two companies significantly in terms of geographical coverage and product depth.

Kevin Thompson, general manager, product management, for Electrocomponents, said: “This agreement fits RS Components’ strategy of aligning with market leading, quality electronics brands like Omron, and taking them to the customer using our differentiated service package. The new relationship allows us to offer our customers in every corner of Europe our widest ever range of Omron components for next day delivery.”
Under the agreement, RS Components will offer Omron MEMs and sensor solutions, alongside Omron’s relay, connector and switch devices.
