Noise reduction SoC targets voice capture devices

ON Semiconductor has launched a new SoC solution that provides wideband single or dual microphone noise reduction in voice capture devices such as mobile phones, VoIP applications and two way radios.

The BelaSigna R262 comes with built-in voice capture and noise reduction technology for improved voice clarity and lower stationary and non stationary background noise.

It integrates a digital signal processor, voltage regulators, phase-locked loop, level translator and memory, all within a WLCSP package of less than 6mm2.

With full 8kHz bandwidth wideband voice capture for VoIP communication, de-reverberation capability and 360° voice pick up, ON Semi says the module is suitable for a range of conference, handset and arm's length applications.
