Mirics targets Japan

  • Mirics targets Japan

Communications chip developer Mirics Semiconductor is collaborating with Electronics Link Japan (ELJ) to help develop its business in Asia. ELJ chairman Peter Bacon, left, celebrates the agreement with Simon Atkins, Mirics’ ceo.

In particular, ELJ's team will work with Mirics to identify and win new business opportunities in Japan for the MSI001 polyband tuner.
“Japan is a key market for Mirics, representing huge potential for mobile tv growth and housing many of the world's leading manufacturers of mobile phones, PDAs and other portable devices,” explains Atkinson. “By partnering with ELJ, we now have the commercial connections we need to establish fruitful and long term business relationships with some of Japan's top technology companies.”
