Mentor hires advisors

Prompting speculation that it may be warming to Cadence’s hostile takeover bid, Mentor Graphics has hired Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch to advise it.


Cadence has made a $16 per share offer to acquire Mentor Graphics. The approach has been rejected by Mentor’s board.
