  • electronics display

LG Electronics has announced it aims to raise shipments of 3d notebook computers by 30% in 2011. The South Korean company forecasts global sales of 3d notebook computers will increase five fold next year to 1.1million units and jump to 13.8m units by 2015.

Harrison Park, LG's mobile communications pc business team leader, said: "With the availability of more 3d content, consumers are enjoying a new experience, and we think that'll drive growth of the 3d computer market."

LG has introduced three models of 3d notebook computers priced about 20% percent more than conventional 2d products.
