Innovation rewarded
Seven businesses have been recognised for their innovation talents by the 2006 Innovation and Design Excellence Awards (iDEAS). At a prestigious ceremony held at the London Hilton on Friday 29 September, Bluetooth leader CSR was named as winner of the Innovation & Design Excellence of the Year award, sponsored by Scientific Generics.
Seven businesses were recognised for their innovation talents by the 2006 Innovation and Design Excellence Awards (iDEAS). At a prestigious ceremony held at the London Hilton on Friday 29 September, Bluetooth leader CSR was presented with the overall Innovation & Design Excellence of the Year award, sponsored by Scientific Generics. The company also won the Product Innovation award for their VoiP dongle and development kit.
Newbury based electronics design company Triteq was named the most Innovative Small Company for its design work for third parties and its small scale production facilities. Highly commended in this category were ML Electronics and GSPK Design.
Triteq also won the Design Collaboration Award for its work in the redesign of a syringe driver.
