Rohde & Schwarz’s new FSV signal analyser set to redefine mid range class for performance and flexibility.

With an analysis bandwidth of 40MHz, Rohde & Schwarz claims its new FSV is the fastest and most accurate mid range signal analyser available.
Covering a wide range of wireless standards - from 3GPP LTE up to WLAN 802.11n - the R&S FSV is said to make measurements more user friendly, with an operating concept that includes a touch screen. Furthermore, 1000 sweeps/s in remote control mode means higher throughput in production for the customer. And it can easily be integrated into existing production lines because it is compatible with earlier generations of Rohde & Schwarz instruments.
“Today's technologies require ever higher bandwidths,” said Josef Wolf, director of the spectrum and network analysis and EMC subdivision at Rohde & Schwarz. “Yet development and production time must be shortened and costs must be reduced. The R&S FSV shows that cost conscious users do not have to forfeit first class technology.”
Available now, the R&S FSV signal analyser comes in two models – one with a frequency range of 9kHz to 3.6GHz and the other with a range up to 7GHz.
