Brooks to head Avnet Embedded EMEA

  • Brooks to head Avnet Embedded EMEA

Avnet Embedded has appointed Martin Brooks as vice president of Avnet Embedded. Brooks, who joined Avnet following the acquisition of Abacus, will be responsible for defining and executing the company’s embedded strategy.

“It is great to be joining Avnet Embedded at this time,” he said. “I look forward to working with the team to establish Avnet Embedded as a leader in the European embedded systems market.”
Patrick Zammit, president of Avnet Electronics Marketing EMEA, added: “We are delighted to welcome Martin to Avnet Embedded. With his background and his expertise, he is the right person to further strengthen Avnet Embedded’s market position and continue to drive sales going forward.”
