Board mounted dc/dc regulators

Five families of board mounted dc/dc regulators from Ericsson Power Modules conform to the requirements of the Point of Load Alliance (POLA). The devices are said to reduce qualification time, speed time to market and ensure reliable sourcing.

Aimed at a range of applications, the families are: PME (6A); PMF (10A); PMG (15A); PMH (22A); and PMJ (30A). Versions are available that accept 3.3, 5 and 12V inputs, whilst output voltage can range from 0.8 to 5V. All devices can be supplied surface mounting or PTH variants.
Amongst features of the regulators are power sequencing via Auto Track control, and a margin up and down control for system checking. Ericsson claims both of these as a first for POLA devices.
