Inaugural International Remanufacturing Congress

  • Inaugural International Remanufacturing Congress

Organised by The Centre for Remanufacturing and Reuse and chaired by Dr Kerry J Mashford, the event will take place on 2nd – 4th March 2010
in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

The event has several objectives:

• To raise the profile of remanufacturing and associated business models as low-carbon, resource efficient and economically attractive options for manufacturers, procurers, and policy makers
• To link / share experiences across the EU and globally
• To develop a vision of the future of remanufacturing and what needs to be done to maximise societal, economic and environmental benefits

Speakers include:
Walter Stahel, co-founder of the Product-Life Institute, Geneva
Ken Hoefling, general manager – Remanufacturing (Asia Pacific) at Caterpillar
Andy Harrison, chief life cycle engineer at Rolls Royce
Sarah Eppel, head of sustainable procurement at Defra
