Framework Programme 7 – a €52billion Opportunity

17th May 2012, The Moller Centre, Cambridge, UK

This event from the ICT KTN, ICT National Contact Point and Cambridge Wireless will give delegates an understanding of future opportunities for European R&D funding for ICT.

The UK is a major participant in EU funding programmes that present organisations of all types and sizes with millions of Euros to underpin their strategic goals for innovation and research. The programme brings together owners of leading edge technology to develop ground breaking products and services, while at the same time advancing basic technology research.

The event will provide delegates with an overview of the forthcoming ICT Calls and advanced notification of the call contents, as well as an opportunity to meet the national support teams, while networking with potential partners and experienced FP7 participants.

This FREE half day event will cover the call contents; working with the ICT KTN; and first hand experience from a range of organisations illustrating the benefits they have experienced through FP7 participation. The event will be of interest to businesses, academics and other interested parties working in the areas of pervasive and trusted network and service infrastructure, cognitive systems and robotics, alternative paths to components and systems, technologies for digital content and languages, ICT for health, aging well and governance and ICT for a low carbon economy.

The event will include presentations and useful information from Eddie Townsend of ICT KTN and Peter Walters of ICT NCP with plenty of time for surgeries with the presenters and also networking with other delegates.
