Ground broken for new warehouse

Avnet Logistics has broken ground in the construction of a new warehouse in Poing. With a total capacity of almost 32,000 sq. m, the building will house one of the most modern distribution centres in the electronics industry. Expected to be fully operational in 2011, the facility is intended to enhance product delivery efficiency increase levels of customer service.

XMOS signs Digi-Key distribution deal

Leading electronics distributor Anglia Components has signed up to the Society of British Aerospace Companies 21st Century Supply Chain programme (SC21) programme and is seeking AS9120 accreditation.

New distribution group aims to be Europe’s number one
