RS Components continues RS Local revamp

RS Components (RS) has relaunched its RS Local branches in Pontypridd, Wales and Aberdeen in Scotland.

These innovation centres offer product and services to support engineers locally across the design, build and maintain phases of the product life cycle.

Both announcements signify a major investment by RS into its branch network offer, of which it has already transformed three branches since the launch of the first RS Local in Bermondsey in May 2017.

The branches feature digital displays and videos to illustrate the value-added services offered to customers.

Commenting Peter Malpas, Regional Managing Director, RS Northern Europe, said: “The RS local branches are designed to support customers through every phase of their design, build and maintenance. Having some of the latest technology and solutions showcased in our RS Local branches is a unique offering, and helps inspire and drive innovation in the community.

“We have technical representatives available in these centres offering advice and information on everything from our free DesignSpark software to IoT smart factory and building solutions. The RS Local branches we have refurbished so far have had a significant impact on the customers who use them.”
