1V rail to rail op amp announced 29/11/2006

op amp, operational amplifier National Semiconductor has introduced a high bandwidth 1V rail to rail input and output cmos op amp suited for use in handheld devices, portable medical equipment and low power instrumentation.
The LMV951 is said by NatSemi to be the only 1V op amp capable of delivering 2.7MHz unity gain bandwidth and maintaining its stability when driving a 500pF capacitive load.
The LMV951 operates from a 1 to 3V supply and its output is buffered, making it independent of resistive loads. For power sensitive applications, the part has a separate shutdown pin that reduces the supply current to 1µA.
